Mineralogical exhibits of past practices
The mineralogical and paleontological Museo della Zolfara (Caltanissetta) displayed through the exhibit of minerals, including sulfur samples, rocks, fossils, equipment and documents, shows the activities of sulfur mining that aren´t any longer practiced. They are also have on display geologic and topographic maps of interesting mines. It also has a macrofossils collection, listed in stratigraphic order, from the Silurian to the Quaternary period.
