Rabat Cathedral

The cathedral is embedded in Rabat city centre in the heart of the historic quarter. A tall and simple facade, two bell towers where the huge bells are still operated by hand. The Maltese cross can be found right at the top and in the centre we see how strong an influence the church still has on this islnd. Inside everything looks more looked after than in our Spanish churches. Fresh, glowing windows and religious motifs all around. On this occasion I recorded a wedding ceremony, a bride, groom and lots of guest ... until I got caught!
