Thessaloniki

The second largest city in Greece, but from my point of view it could be the first in many respects. What is more surprising is the atmosphere in the streets at any time of day. It is a lively city and the center is always full of people, mostly young. Many bars and restaurants in the center which close quite late, in a Spanish way. It has a lot of culture. One of the most beautiful places is the Turkish quarter of Kastra and its walls, Thessaloniki of the XIX century. Forget the chaos that exists in the rest of the city and stroll through narrow streets with huge hills, full of steps. The houses are made of wood, very tiny and shutters, which gives it a very particular feel.
