The Monte de Arrhée Awaits!
Although Charrues Vieilles program varies in each edition, the annual festival that has been held for the past 18 years has cultivated a recipe based on excellent music and good atmosphere. Among artists and singers, this festival has become something for lovers of all styles of music. There are teenagers who congregate to hear pop, seasoned rockers, and indie lovers. I've struggle to find another festival able to present line up with The Stooges, Hugues Aufray and Suprême NTM. Punk bands are also welcome, as are classics, and even Moustaki lovers to dance to "Noir Desir". The festival was created in 1992 by a group of friends who wanted to "have a good meal, sing and have a drink together." Vieilles Charrues is still working with the same principles, with the only difference being that the attendees are a bit more numerous.
