It is a traditional restaurant S. Fernando that has 2 terraces by the ocean, next to a tiny beach and a jetty for fishermen. In summer or winter it is nice to sit and try the tasty dishes from the kitchen, watching the bay of Cadiz and Puerto Real. Lovely sunset, and a gentle breeze on days makes it difficult for one to want to leave this place. Good fried fish, golden to the back and one anemones and all reasonably priced. Very possibly this beautiful corner disappears with the new coastal law and in my opinion should be pardoned by the many years since and the enjoyment he brought to all ve have and have had the opportunity to visit. So many times I've frequented one day at high tide a gold ring memory of my father from a terrace to water was to stop, so good luck with a young client got into the sea, handing it back and in my hand is. This story took me to a conclusion is that such a place is made to enjoy and have the best memory. Me was grateful and did not consent to a bad one could invade my heart. Bartolo Thanks for the good times spent at your house. The Tito Gab'y fondly. A big hug.
In San Fernando (or Isla de León) within 10 km of Cadiz, you'll find this restaurant. It's very modern, with blends of colours. The kitchen chefs have been trained at the famous school of Martin Verasategui, and the food is really amazing quality at very low prices. We were pleasantly surprised by the final bill! From the gazpacho to the croquetas and the pasta ... there are more than fifty tapas on offer, and the menu usually changes every month. A great place to go for a traditional taste of Cadiz.
We came here with the intention of just having a couple of soft drinks then moving on, but after seeing how good the food looked, we asked for the menu. We started with a shrimp salad, which was delicious, and continued with shrimp croquettes, which were also great. To continue the evening, we had a plate of Iberian pork on a base of potato with gazpacho, and it was amazing. We finished with a simply spectacular ham toast with gazpacho. Their prices are just as striking as the food, ranging from 2.50 to 9.90 euros, but generally sitting at around the 4 euro mark.
As you can imagine, it's very rare to have such good quality at such low prices. To me, the secret of success of the place lies in the perfect use of the ingredients so common in our land it, cooking and presenting them in a sublime manner. The service is great, too. Afterwards, I heard that taperia is run by Javier Gonzalez Rodriguez, 26, born in San Fernando, who attended Jerez Hotel School, and has a Degree in Hospitality and Tourism in Madrid. The restaurant seats about 60 people, plus the terrace, and the kitchen is glass-fronted.
I can not pass up this chance to correct you. Nothing you say is true, and we see that what you say you have said without having even entered. Call me and I will inform you of what you want but do not do reviews without knowing. Sorry, your comment deserves 0.00000.
In this small yogurt parlor, I had the pleasure of trying the best frozen yogurt I've tasted so far, not only for its taste, texture and toppings (nutela, happy hiccups, freshly cut fruit ... over 30 different toppings ) but the wonderful service by staff who make you feel special. They do ice cream tasting sessions, explaining the ingredients they have (not forgetting the Barbarian: frozen yogurt with strawberry jam and rose petals and chocolate cake crumble, among other delicacies). The yogurt itself is amazing - tasty, delicious, low fat and natural. It has been our downfall as whenever we are in the area, it is a must. I would definitely recommend it, there are other ice cream shops in San Fernando which also have very good flavors of yogurt ice cream but they aren't as good as this place.
Good afternoon. Today, October 16 2012, I would like to say a few words about this great place where I eat regularly when staying in the famous town of San Fernando. You don't need to be an experienced and sophisticated critic to know what you like. Service = fast. Atmosphere = very pleasant environment, including the background music and clientele. Food = varied combining typical local dishes with other flavors. Pricing Policy = good. Tables on the terrace = Yes. In other words: I will return.
This is the perfect spot for eating seafood, tapas or whatever you want, while enjoying views of the sea - specifically, the San Fernando pier with its little boats. The food is excellent, innovative and very good value. It's perfect for celebrations, with a large main room and a playground for the kids. It's a bright, nicely-decorated restaurant with a wide terrace.
Its varied menu and economic rates make it well-known in San Fernando. In low season, they're top in sales and the best on the island. Founded in 1986, they now boast 29 years of offering their menus of the day for only €7.50, and you can choose from over 14 dishes. They have local fish, Iberian meats, tapas and sandwiches, and even an ice cream section where could enjoy a wonderful sundae. The dining room is 150 meters, with capacity for 120 people. And an outdoor terrace of 80 m2 perfect at any time of year.
Terrace cafe and two lounges. Excellent menu of coffees and teas with a wide choice for breakfast, snacks and tapas, cakes and pastries, ice cream (mostly gluten-free). You can also sit in its central terrace for a drink or a cocktail. All with exquisite attention and in a pedestrian street, so it's safe for children.
This restaurant is in the plaza de la Iglesia Mayor, with a lovely terrace overlooking it. The dishes are just spectacular, at prices from € 3.40 to € 7 and on weekdays a menu for 9 € combining two dishes and dessert. The waiters provide exquisite service, particularly Ruben. To summarise - 10/10.
In the heart of San Fernando Real Street, I was surprised to find a gastrobar. Besides the typical dishes of the zone (gazpacho, serranitos, sandwiches) here you can find elaborate toasts and original dishes. Come here if you want to eat something different in the heart of San Fernando.
