This seafood paella is a religious experience. For just 10 euros you can rent a lounger overlooking Noja beach. Do not expect much as it is a touristy place, but we left happy. For 2 people you can order a well loaded paella for the price of a menu.
The decor in this establishment is simple. They offer Italian cuisine with good value for money. You can get 2 starters, 4 second courses + water and wine for about 60 euros. The crepes, bolognese and mushroom and cheese risotto are all a good choice. If you're in Santander and you fancy an Italian, you should go for it.
Has it all: homemade food and the portions are very good, drinks are prepared with care, dancing and concerts. It is very spacious, great for kids (there's an enclosed garden) and for dogs too because they have a dog sitting area which seems a very good idea. Certainly a place to visit if you're in the area.
This establishment is situated opposite the beach of Ris, right next to the Ciaboga. It offers Argentinan food. The service is good and the meat is excellent. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. I highly recommend the menu of 12 €, and the prices are more than reasonable. The decor is cozy and modern with flat screens throughout the venue. Definitely a hit.
Argentinian pizzeria from the same branch as Restaurant Para Vos ... on Paseo Marítimo. Excellent service and great Argentinian style pizzas, mediums or larges served on a wooden base. Variety to choose from. A good choice.
Alba café-restaurant is one of the most typical restaurants in Noja. This restaurant has a dining room which is tiny, seating a maximum of about 20 people, though in summer there is more space on the terrace. It has a very affordable daily menu at the weekend for just 11.00 euros with a choice between 9 first courses and second courses, drinks, dessert and bread. In addition to its restaurant you can snack in the café, their special dishes being the fried Alba Hake with octopus, roasted pork knuckle, scorpion fish pudding and pasta and fish salad with cocktail sauce.
Hotel-restaurant Arillo, in the Cantabrian town of Noja, is a luxury for lovers of good food. Apart from its extensive seafood menu with sourced locally, freshly caught in the sea. Has a lovely terrace where you can enjoy your snacks or drinks. Run by Ernesto and Estíbaliz, with extensive experience in the world of hospitality, restaurant Arillo will make you remember your time in the area. Here's a photo of some crabs, freshly caught which we began our meal with and ended with homemade desserts and coffees.
Surely the best terrace on Ris beach with spectacular views. The site is unique. Service is very proper and helpful. Ideal for having a coffee, breakfast or a snack. But for other meals, go elsewhere. Servings small and not very cheap.
Bar-restaurant on the beachfront. On Ris en Noja beach, Cantabria. Speciality are rabas (battered squid slices) in a chopito (small squid) style. Mixed dishes. With indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the beach ... Served fast and treated well. Recommended.
I recommend all of Noja's visitors not to leave without having eaten here. EXCELLENT value for money (don't recommend going for the first time on a busy day like Mother's Day, with so much happening on all sides, the excess reduces the quality of customer service). Excellent menu of the day (I think they cost about 15 euros with Rioja wine). They have a very good sampler menu for couples going to the movies or to an event/commitment (I went to a wedding and a christening there, we had a blast, but don't know about the price) Manuel Perez, couple for 30 years (we live in Bilbao, but my partner is from Castillo, the neighboring village)
La Casona offers excellent service in a friendly, decorated, safe and warm atmosphere. It has a full menu that has all kinds of dishes from sweet to savory. Their kitchen is one of the best from a nutritional point of view and taste. Their staff will take care of you, making you feel the best they can. Located in Noja, Spain.
