Didn't eat here because my Uncle Lemos didn't let me...... but the place is worth visiting and have bottles of cider for €3, I repeat €3!!! It's interesting to know that the street only has two exits, one for the civil guard. If you want to know how good it is, you'll just have to go.
We stopped by this restaurant to try the “cocido lebaniego,” a typical regional dish consisting of locally-grown chick peas, potatoes, cabbage, and, of course, chorizos, morcilla (blood sausage), bacon, and ham. We also had some homemade desserts and a plate of ham as a starter. The restaurant is located in the attic of an old yet beautiful building which gives it an extra helping of charm.

Well, we went up to the Picos de Europe on an excursion and on the way back we stopped in Potes to eat. We were looking for the Gallego Restaurant, which was recommended by some of the people in the group, but we got turned around and instead we found El Rincon de los Portales. The truth is that it doesn't have the presence that some of the other restaurants in the area have, but don't be fooled by that because there are some set menus here that start at 9 euros, not 11 euros plus the VAT tax like in other places. We were2 adults and 2 children and we ordered 3 menus (for 27 euros) that came with a 1st, 2nd and dessert, and we left feeling like kings. If we're in the area we'll definitely come back.
