Right in the heart of Mijas village and with wonderful views to the sea and the coast, we can find the restaurant the Alcazaba de Mijas. This restaurant specializes in international cuisine, and has several rooms that have been prepared for company meals and others. The menu is varied but not too extensive (something good for the undecided ..) and although the food is mostly focused on meeting the needs of the international tourism visiting Mijas, we can find some typical local dishes such as gazpacho, salmorejo, etc. In the basement of the building there are several swimming pools, which apart from being a pleasant view to the eye, also makes the breeze be fresher which helps to withstand the heat of summer. ! I recommend it!
On the recommendation of a family we decided to eat at this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised with the abundant food and prices which really stretched. It specializes in fried fish and I recommend it.
What can I say about this place? The menu is quite large with exquisite food. They offer good service and fantastic presentation. It's a sin to go to Mijas and not to have "tapas" here. It's on a narrow street that adds to the charm, if possible. If you like tapas, definitely go here.
This place isn't as touristy as some on the side of the square. It has a terrace, which is very laid back and it is best to order the grill! I had a Sunday menu, and it was fine! The menu is very extensive, with affordable prices. All meats are grilled on charcoal, with a lovely colour and they smell even better!
Located in Calahonda in Mijas Costa, this Chinese restaurant is a little unusual because of the quality and the environment. The menu is quite extensive, so along with traditional spring rolls, you'll find delicious salads, various rice side dishes, roast duck and vegetables, and delicious desserts. Calahonda is usually a very quiet area and most of its pub and restaurants are often run by foreigners, so if you get to the village you can also find restaurants serving international cuisine.
The Mandrake is a renowned restaurant in Mijas, with over 20 years of experience in creating wonderful dishes. The restaurant offers guests an extensive menu with traditional dishes and some Slovakian receipes such as cesareans with chives, mixed salad with warm goats cheese and crispy bacon, baby cantaloupe filled with fruit, salmon and shrimp with orange sauce, lamb tenderloin with honey and sweet wine and duck breast with fresh figs. A lovely place, with a cozy dining room and a large terrace.
El Refugio Bar Restaurant is in the historic centre of Mijas. It's a cozy family bar with very good prices for tapas or just a drink. The service is very nice and hearty, and the food is very good. It's a real village pub that you should not miss!
The Mirlo Blanco Restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere with a specialized staff. It has a full menu serving all kinds of traditional dishes to enjoy on every occasion with family, friends or as a couple. It also has an excellent variety of desserts. It's in Mijas, Spain.
The Valparaiso Restaurant is on Carretera de Mijas, Malaga. It's known for hosting various corporate, business, and social events. It has a broad menu serving dishes with special presentation, such as all kinds of pasta, fish and homemade dessert. It also has a wide selection of wines.
If you like Thai food, I highly recommend you this place. It's a little far from the beaches but this is also part of its charm, as it is not crowded of people. The atmosphere is quite original, the food is delicious, the staff is friendly, everything you need for a perfect evening. The ideal to know this place is to have lunch there as they put different daily menus that are an inexpensive way to try their most popular dishes.
