This is a set of irregular coves, which are both sandy and rocky. It's an urban beach whose composition is rocks and middle-thick type of sand: Dark. Narrow beach with sun beds and umbrellas rentals. On the site there is a bar called "Bar-Restaurant Torremuelle Beach" with a specialty of paella, fried fish and other dishes.
Here you can enjoy aromatic tea, juice, and soft music that's played during the quiet breakfast time for 2 euros. You'll feel like you've been transported to Morocco. The photos on the wall are from the fair of Malaga, which runs from 15 - 26 August, and you're sure to want to come and enjoy it after looking at the pictures! People dancing in the street, tapas, beer, delicious food, and flowers everywhere ...
This sidreria is one of those places you can recommend without fear of making a mistake, because it meets all the expectations of those seeking a place to taste traditional Asturian and Cantabrian cuisine, with some innovative touches. The restaurant is located in a side of the square near the church and next to the train station. It is impossible to get lost since every one knows where it is along the Costa del Sol. To start the mout-watering you can order a delicious inlet of sea urchin caviar in shell or scrambled eggs with caviar and sea urchin gulas. You can continue with some beans, clams or a good steak, though, do not forget to leave space for dessert. I recommend the rice pudding or apple crepes filled with vanilla ice cream. Prices are fair considering the quality.
This is a great place to eat and dine at any time of year, located along the walkway of the Santa Ana beach in Benalmádena Costa, near the Castle of Bil Bill. It has an extensive menu of fish and meat, as well as delicious sardines which are typical of this area. I could enjoy dining on the terrace on an autumnal day in December.
This restaurant on the beach in Benalmadena Costa, close to the east of Puerto Marina, offers a good place for lunch or dinner any time of year, but especially in summer. It has a wide variety of fish dishes and seafood, sardines, rice, etc.. The service team is very professional and attentive. After a day at the beach, dine on the terrace at night, enjoy one of the great feasts of the sea (the feast of the Virgen del Carmen). There's a great atmosphere on the beach, boardwalk and Puerto Marina.
We were in Benalmadena and tried Restaurant Los Remos Lazarus. Actually, it was a fantastic experience! We ate there every day. Excellent fish of the day, paellas, fish and the best homemade desserts. Best on the beach, you can even rent deck chairs to have a quick nap.
In Arroyo de la Miel you can find this lovely restaurant/tavern, where you can enjoy all the traditional dishes of Malaga cuisine at great prices in a friendly atmosphere. Tita Yoli is named after the owner, who has 30 nieces and 17 nephews, but the service is so nice and friendly, you will feel like one of them. The portions are generous and the tapas are all prepared with great care and with typical local products. The menu is quite extensive and special dishes are served on Sunday, such as casserole with ribs, potatoes, and sprouts... Highly recommended.
I like my pizza and these guy baked a great pizza. Thin crust and fresh ingredients. The missus had the pasta, fruta del mar which was delicious. Huge prawns. Great service and a good bottle of red. All in all great place!
It's one of those places that surprises you! They just celebrated their 25th anniversary. And it's just like it was when they opened. Home cooking and always varied. Lots of tapas from croquettas to tuna with onions, meatballs, gazpacho, tripe with chickpeas, asparagus baked with cheese sauce and lots more. I assure you that everything is very very good. The price like everything else, is very good. If you are in the area and want to eat tapas I know of no better. 100% recommended.
The El Copo Taberna Marinera is a very "Malaga" type place on the coast of Benalmádena. They serve excellent cuisine, delicious fish that I recommend, as well as fried octopus. It was super delicious, they fry the whole thing, but it's all really good. The location's decor is sailor-esque, with photos of old Malaga that are very nice. The restaurant has 2 large living rooms, one of which is a smoking terrace. It overlooks the sea and the seafront promenade. It's self serve and the service is good. And the best part is the PRICE. All of the all appetizers are € 6, and there are dishes for € 3, as well as dessert for € 1.5. Don't forget to ask for a delicious tocino ;-)
It's a site that I recommend to everyone. They have delicious grilled meats, pasties, beef sausage and some wonderful desserts. Plus the staff who greeted us was lovely. There's also a playground to keep the kids entertained for a while and a terrace large enough to spend a bit of time there. In case anyone is interested it's in the Las Ventas Mall on the top floor. Finally, the value is very good, we recommend it.
Whenever I can, I escape to this restaurant with my partner. We've known it for a long time and the truth is that every time we go it surprises us. The menu is varied and you can choose between meat and pasta. The prices are respectable for the service and product quality. It is a popular restaurant with brits so it's always full of tourists.
The snack bar Virgen del Mar, next to the beach, is a highly recommended place to eat fried fish, famous in Malaga. The sizes of the dishes are really quite big, we could not finish the second plate of adobo (9 €) after the famous espetas (grilled sardines) which were very tasty. The fritura for one (16 €) can really be for two! The breeze is pleasant, which is nice while drinking a half-liter of sangria. Then you can enjoy the beach which is 1 meter away to rest after the feast.
What a lovely restaurant. Spanish cuisine but with a twist. All the food here is homemade. The croquetas has the thinnest of batter. Truly mouthwatering. The steaks were cooked to perfection. We had the tasting menu and each course came with a local wine that was explained to us before starting. Really good service. Well Done Toro!
The missus and I decided to try out some Greek food. El Greco is located in Benalmadena Marina.
We have to say that the food was extremely good. Plus, they even had Greek wines. The services was top notch. All in all, a very good restaurant, great services and the views of the marina from the terrace was spectacular! Would recommend to any one!
