We were lucky enough to find this restaurant in the background. We even got to see how to broach the sardines and how the clams were cooked (we went to the kitchen). Later, I can say that the result was excellent. We ate a little of everything: Sardines (10), shrimp totillas (July 1), calamari (delicious), anchovies (scandal) ... Of course, if you go, you must order the sardines. I've been to a couple or three sites in Pedregalejo and this certainly takes the cake.
This site has been a success since its opening in Torremolinos. It is a tapas tavern that is more elaborate than most of the others in the area. The menu is extensive and they have a variety of wines. It is usually pretty full, and there are table outside. They did well with the place, and I believe there is another in the center of Malaga and Fuengirola although I have not tried them. If you are in the area I recommend you to try.
If you travel around the beaches of Torremolinos you will be amazed by the number of beach bars that you are going to find for your journey as it is one of the places where there are tons, as well as lots of people around. In my case the one I liked was the snack bar at Los Corales Beach, which I believe gets its name because it is across from a street of the same name. I liked because the music was good compared to others who had (music for guiris total) and because the cocktails were good though, tourist price We got an ax from 9.00 € for a super small mojito, but delicious ... And like the combined price ... Is it about being in a tourist site ...
The other day I went to this place for the first time, I took some friends to dinner. At first it seemed like a quiet, spectacular dinner. We had ordered a delicious salad and scrumptous burger! Then we encourage you to have a mojito! Then when the place got crowded, we stayed for the party! I loved the atmosphere, the music. What struck me most is the atmosphere changed there! 100% recommended!
Quitapenas winery restaurant is a very small restaurant in Torremolinos, situated in San Miguel street towards the beach. It has a small terrace if you can get a table. The quality is very good although the service depending on which waitress you get could be good. The price is very good. If you want a glass of wine and a couple of tapas this place comes highly recommended.
There are places that invite you to return again when you re-visit a city, and this bar restaurant is one of them. It is Not a fancy place but the location is unbeatable, in the street of San Miguel one of the most commercial of the town. This time we chose to start a SALAD of tomatito, a great clams that while you can take elsewhere in this taste different, some acceptable grilled shrimp and a grilled baby squid but also with their ink (never had tried and are delicious). The price and quality rather balanced as always, the above with freshly baked four canes, coffee and cokes Dyc total of 47.40 euros.
This restaurant is part of La Reserva, which already has two locations in Malaga, La Reserva 12 and La Reserva del Pastor. They bought this old restaurant about a year ago. The location is spectacular, and the interior is tastefully decorated, with all the windows offering sea views. Close to the restaurant is another place that I think is meant to be an outdoor drinking area, but as the weather wasn't great, it was closed.
Inside the restaurant, there's a bar if you don't want to sit at a table, and high tables for two. The menu is extensive, meat, fish, rice and several starters. Everything we've tried has been great, seafood salad, potato salad, clams, fried calamari and marinade. The fish had a good taste, but it was a little too soft for my liking. I like it to be fried a bit more crisp. In short, a very pleasant experience we'll be sure to repeat. Regarding the price, the above plus coffee, dessert, two beers and a glass of wine € 64.
We returned to this spot after a while of having not been there. It is right on the seafront in Torremolinos, in the piece that goes from the Los Alamos to Playamar. The beach bar is well mounted, as you can see it is a bit different from the rest that are in the area. It has a very nice terrace. Regarding the food, we were a little surprised, along with the traditional letter of fried fish, clams, mussels, etc ... they have oriental dishes and meat cutting. I like the touch that they give to the fried foods, and I really love being on the terrace at the beach and having something to bit into to. I really like the squids put, I love the point that they give frying. The only downside I see is that there are no sardines. Miguel is the owner and will serve you great and will make you to feel like you are at home.
Who does not associate Malaga Beach with snack shacks? Well if you want to enjoy one of the typical bars of the famous Malaga Carihuela Beach, you can not miss the Jesus and Tere. It is located right outside the hotel Pez Espada. Here you can try some typical dishes from the city of Malaga: The famous kebabs, clams, thin shells, prawns ... etc.. And if you are super hungry, they have some combined plates too. If you want to enjoy a full day at the beach in Malaga, stop by one of these bars.
Mango is a different kind of restaurant, as you'll see from the first time you look at it! Don't go if you're in a hurry - service is slow, even when the restaurant isn't full. When we went, they had live music, so at least the wait was enjoyable. The prices are reasonable. I recommend it (don't order the Lambrusco wine).
Mohamed's restaurant is relaxed and friendly in a welcoming family environment. The cuisine is Moroccan, and the prices are good. It is in a Moroccan sweet home, you can taste the typical couscous, pastilla filled the vegetables and chicken, chicken tagine, beef tagine with vegetables tagines you lamb with prunes and raisins, and be sure to try the tea.
In Pinar area of Torremolinos, in front of the hill, is where this 50's style restaurant is located. It has very good décor, great atmosphere and excellent food. It has Cocretas Iberian, cod fritters, mashed potatoes with shrimp, duck confit roll with orange, mushroom ravioli, Iberian sirloin are examples of what they can offer. And for dessert brownie with ice cream and strawberry petazetas. Very, very recommendable.
La Coquina is a stall in La Carihuela with great food. The owner, Joquin, and his son Jose give great service. It stands at the end of the promenade, and you'll eat with the gulls for company. The fish is high-quality, whether baked or with rice. The photo is the view from the restaurant
It's not a fancy place with white linen tablecloths - it's a local spot offering good home cooking, at low prices. The service was very good, friendly, and attentive. The food was nice home cooking - nothing pretentious, just good quality and value for money. Thanks to Jose and Rosario.
Fried fish is the typical dish in Malaga province, so if you're ever in Torremolinos you have to try it. I've been coming to Frutos del Mar for many years and it's one of the best places around for fried fish. In addition to the fish, the clams are spectacular, and the pepper salad and gazpacho as also worth trying.
Perhaps the best crepes in Malaga. It's a great place to have a drink in summer or winter (it has a covered terrace). The new owners have kept the charm of the Dutch couple who ran this place years ago, and the secret pancake recipe remains unchanged. Sadly, the old burgers have been phased out as they didn't conform to the health code, but the new burgers are just as delicious!
