After making a tour of the Sierra de las Nieves, we had to enjoy our "Plan B" to regain strength and passing by the museum / winery, in the center of the city of Ronda, near the Tagus. It's dedicated to wine and everything related to it, we enjoyed tasting various wines of the region of Ronda and Malaga, and we admired the furnishings that decorate the museum, from ancient cellars, along with changing Goya Ronda and farm tools that are exposed, which summarizes the uses and customs of the area in cultivation and processing of vineyards and wine. It's a nice museum where you can be reminded of the history of how they have grown vines in Ronda and its region since the Roman times.
La Bodega Fontalba Capote was created in 1986 and is a family business with deeply rooted traditions. For a decade it was devoted to the preparation of wine, from harvest to bottling in a professional way, although the preparation of the wine is from a few years ago by the father of the current owners, in the post war period this activity was stopped.
