unspoilt and unknown to most Costa Ricans. It is rich in flora and fauna on land and in the sea. It has natural beauty and a beautiful mangrove estuary. It is a white sand beach, with gentle slopes and gentle waves, for about 600 meters. Almost all of the access road is rough. The bay is protected by headlands at both ends, so it has a smooth waters, a great benefit to swimmers. A beach ideal for relaxing in the shade of leafy trees, at the end of the sandy area. Great for sun, sand, sea, sport fishing, diving, and camping. In front of the beach, is an island whose shape creates many different shadows, to spark the imagination of those that observe it.
White sand beach and deep blue water of more than 3 kilometers long, with moderate to strong surf, we can discover the charms of this place, called the Bahia Salinas. It is near the border with Nicaragua, and quite close to the Santa Rosa National Park, being one of the most remote natural paradises that Costa Rica has which is reflected in its tranquility and rest. It is also great for swimming, fishing, diving and other water sports activities. There are two streams in the ends, and Bolaños Island Biological Reserve, which just makes this landscape perfect. Although you can access this beautiful beach in any kind of vehicle, four-wheel drives are best to access the road which is not paved.
