The photos don't compare with the reality

Here are some photos of St. Tropez. When we went, amazingly, it was quiet! We also had beautiful sunshine through our whole vacation. Afterwards, we took a walk around the city. But the photos don't compare with the reality. It's even more surprising in real life. This is a classic city for chic and famous tourism.

Glamour and chic

It is difficult to speak of Saint Tropez without naming the luxury and style that distills each of its corners. Since we put a foot (or wheel if we drive) in the first square meter of the 'city', and soaked up something different: a gathering of Porsche with more than 1,000 vehicles where owners tents belonging to that select club revel in champagne and caviar, or unemployed millionaires taking wonderful appetizer on the marina in front of his yacht, with a crew uniform and ready for reviewing. The shops of the best brands, the most exclusive boutiques, scattered around the area immediately above the sea. Reason has the press to say that will not stop ringing every year as one of the top vacation spots for VIPS most famous, not only in France but around the world. Besides landscapes, colors and nature, the exclusivity that offers visitors the best claim to continue investing in this corner of the Riviera. Brigitte Bardot was the film 'And God created Eve', who became fashionable Saint Tropez. Since then, the history of the city has been linked to the glamor of the celebrities who enjoy the sun, the local cuisine and festivals that are organized here. Kate Moss, Paris Hilton, Penelope Cruz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Naomi Campbell, Elton John, Johnny Hallyday, Jack Nicholson, Johnny Depp, Bruce Willis, Flavio Briatore, the Emir of Qatar or Roman Abramovich, are some of the characters that are seen each summer through the streets. Streets that are kept spotless, like turning the butler cotton every five minutes. There is not a blade of dust, or a butt. Nothing. Unfortunately the churches were closed, though it was Sunday morning, giving the feeling that it was a set. Either way simply because walking through its streets is a luxury to be enjoyed slowly and time. Who knows if we turned a corner we find BB?

Glamour y chic

Saint-tropez! the village of all clic...

Saint-Tropez! The village of all clichés, accessible only after the plugs km in August (I have had better luck, nananre!), Tariffs hoteliers blanch a hair in 10 seconds ... And the legendary port? This is the realm of the "bling-bling" on the quay Suffren, tourists hallucinate seeing the luxury mega-yachts rows guard - you with their board small unhappy bank account 6 or 7 figures! Most of these boats are sailing EVER (a t confirm me!), And every morning, staff crew s'vertue polish in every corner; it is a "cinema" all, almost pathetic! This is to see what the vast majority of tourists come! But not with me! OK, I finding it, but Saint-Tropez is also an old village with small charming lanes (often rightly dlaisses tourists), small nice beaches (I do not speak of Pampelonne of course). think outside the box, this is also traveling. The proof is that that night the, I stumbled upon a small religious procession, where the local saint is Promen through the maze of alleys to return the Church. Pittoreque and authentic ... the cart of the permanent representation thtrale the port.

Saint-Tropez!

The jewel of brigitte bardot

Saint-Tropez is a town on the French Riviera of 5,000 inhabitants. Of Greek origin, the settlement takes its present name thanks to the Christian martyr St. Torpé, beheaded by Nero, whose headless body was laid on a boat with a rooster and carried away by currents up to here. In Saracen was the subject of constant raids, up to depopulate the whole. Repopulated by the Ligurians around 1500, was a fishing village until the 50s, when it became famous for the film "Love in too many" who launched Brigitte Bardot (who owns a villa in Saint-Tropez). Destination of the international jet-set, this village flavor Italic keeps unchanged the charm of yesteryear. Park your car at the port, until you get to visit this country. Visit the boutiques and enjoy a drink in one of his coffee, take a walk around the narrow streets of the old town, then climb the hill behind him and admire the view. Get off the west side and take a swim in the beach (pebble).

Prerequisite celebrities, fame St Tropez is a dream. It is a popular seaside resort of Jet Set since the 50s (thanks to Brigitte Bardot). I let you discover St Trop 'for yourself but beware in summer (many people) prefer May, June, September or much more accessible to discover the port, the famous citadel, its streets, its market place of the lists, its culinary ... do not miss either the beaches of St Tropez, the famous sandals "Saint-Tropez", a cocktail to be seen in the famous brewery "Sénéquier".

I visited Saint-Tropez night and I can tell you that it is a city that moves! The city of stars par excellence, there are many large and luxurious boats along the docks and many luxury shops also in the streets! Anyway small shops elsewhere views and fresh air of the sea will leave a pleasant memory, especially if you go to party!

Cold, beautiful beaches. many shops (...

Cold, beautiful beaches. Many shops (but overpriced) we settle for a walk. It is a beautiful place in August but it is full of people. Better to go in the fall.

Calor, bonitas playas.
