House Two Vilhenas

Casa dos Vilhenas is opposite Casa dos Serpas and João Almeida Memorial. It's a XVIII century palace built for the Pereira Coutinho Penedono family that now houses the administrative headquarters and museum of the Holy House of Mercy of Lamego. The 2-story building has a linear and symmetrical facade around a central body topped by a triangular pediment which houses shield emblems of Vilhenas, the Coutinhos and Pereiras. The lower level has large windows protected by curved wrought iron railings and the top has balconies.
