A lively place
The University of Manchester extends over a large portion of Oxford Road, one of the main streets in Manchester. It has a mixture of Victorian and modern architecture; the University Place is a real symbol of modernism, in contrast to the older buildings and massive library. It's a lively place, with its coffee shops and bars full of students.
