An educational experience
The Quarry Bank Mill and Styal Estate (Manchester) is located in the valley of the Bollin River. It is an important heritage that tells the story of both the cotton mill and the working community. It has 3 sights to see: Quarry Bank Mill, the apprentice chamber, and the Secret Garden. Two floors are dedicated to a wide range of machines used for making cotton through a multi-step process, which can be seen in operation.
