This is a very traditional restaurant located in Floripa, which specialises in seafood. It is very famous for sticky notes that customers stick to the walls and the ceiling. It has various snack options, and delicious fruit juices. Located onn the beachfront, and away from the bustle of the city centre, it's a great option for lunchtime on Sunday.
This is an excellent restaurant located south of the island of Santa Catarina (Florianópolis). The crispy steak is amazing, and they serve some of the best fish I've ever eaten. Great for a romantic date or family lunch or dinner.
The restaurant is set in a tropical environment, ideal for relaxing on the oceanfront! It is a magical place in Pantano do Sul, south Floripa. Directly on the beach, accessible by car, and hardly visited. The prices are affordable, and you can eat fresh fish, fruit, and sip a caipirinha with live background music. Beautiful scenery, with views of the fishing boats. If you go in early February, you can continue the evening with a beach party in honour of Jemanja, deity of the waters and sea, during which the faithful dance all night amid bonfires on the beach. An experience not to miss.
The pizzeria with the best environment that I have been to over the past few years! The restaurant is located next to the Floripa lagoon, in a wooden house illuminated only by candles and a few lights, which makes the room much more cozy. Every part has been done with care and affection. We were at the top, and we were sat on a sofa with colorful cushions, instead of a traditional table. The pizza came in pieces, so that everyone could take a piece with a toothpick. The night was great and the pizzas were sensational, well seasoned and stuffed (be careful as the Neapolitan pizza has lots of garlic!). The price is well suited, a large pizza out on average, U.S. $ 42.
This beach club - according to the New York Times (2009) - is glam. Created with the purpose of uniting music and food, and serving good food to ballads. The fusion menu is the work of Peruvian chefs Olaechea Hugo and Sara Sanchez. The place is incredible! Donna takes advantage of the different hours of the day. I arrived early morning, I was at the beach, and then went for a bruschetta and cheese cakes with pepper jam. In high season, it is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.. In low season, open on Thursday and Friday from 19h to 1h, Saturdays from 11 am-1 pm, and Sunday from 20h to 11h.
It is located at the end of Sambaqui beach, west of Florianopolis, about 17km from the centre. It has a deck with a few tables on a wooden floor, arranged around a pool. On sunny days, the place is busy. The restaurant specialises in fish and seafood, and each portion is enough for two or three people. As an appetizer we ordered shrimp and breaded codfish balls, both very good. The prices of the dishes range from $ 55.00 to $ 80.00.
Founded by Jose Eliseo da Silva in 1987, it is a great place to sample the delights of the sea off the coast of Santa Catarina, almost at the sea! Delicious crab cakes and shrimp from Vo Vanda are some of their culinary delights. Near Cacupé, there are beautiful beaches and historical sites like Jurerê, or Santo António de Lisboa that complement a great walk in this part of the island.
Recanto do Sol is a small beachside restaurant on the road between Jurere and Canasvieiras on the north coast of the island of Santa Catarina. It's the perfect environment for a romantic seafood dinner. We had shrimp cakes, crab, and grilled sardines, all of which were wonderful. In summer, its open from 11h to 24h every day. In winter, it only opens on weekends until 22h. Try to get there in the late afternoon to enjoy the sunset.
After a pleasant stroll along the banks of the lake, we stopped by chance in this bar-restaurant on the beach. It looks very simple, but the food was delicious! Generous portions of fish and chips, Skol beer, and delicious caipirinha. Excellent value for money! Friendly atmosphere and just on the seashore. The city, once a fishing village, is lovely, quiet, and quirky. Definitely worth a visit!
This small hut in the huge beach of Morro das Pedras will surprise you, not only for the beer, coconut water, and caipirinhas, but also for their dishes worthy of the best fish restaurants. There's nothing better than eating a giant plate of mussels with lemon, while on the beach, facing the rough sea, while admiring the distant island of Campeche. Everything is great, especially the live background music. A paradise!
Imagine a beautiful restaurant in the centre of Lagoa da Conceição marina in Florianópolis, serving the best cuisine ... this can become a reality in the Chef Fedoca. Here you can watch the boats and yachts moored while you eat and drink. The menu is full of delicious options, including grilled fish, lobster and crispy octopus. The star chef Alfredo was a fisherman whose passion for the sea led to his working in the kitchen; he opened his first bar in 1985. Later, in 1994, he opened a restaurant in the corner of Marina, where it remained until 1997. From the year 1998, it has been in its current location.
This is where you can go for some really delicious sandwiches! Ideal if you're starving after a day on the beach. It has three different stores on the island of Floripa, one in the centre, another in the Floripa mall, and finally in Lagoa da Conceição. There's a varied menu of sandwiches. The chicken and turkey breast are great, or if you want something meatier, you can have steak and cheddar. Delicious when washed down by fresh fruit juice.
The Ingleses Beach is one of the most popular in Florianopolis, because it is close to several restaurants. Estaleiro is a good option, very popular at lunch and dinner. It offers a variety of dishes and snacks, as well as a beautiful sea view. The specialty of the house is fish, with shrimp and fish dishes costing about 35 reais. There is live music in the evenings during the high season.
The Bar Baridade offers a menu with several choices of appetisers and seafood dishes. The place has a great family history and the quality of food offered is really good. The breaded squid is just indescribable! Very soft and well-seasoned. It costs just under 40 dollars. The drinks menu has a good variety, with caipirinhas and other cocktails, and the presentation is wonderful.
A good option if you're in the area. There's a variety of different dishes and pizzas on offer, with 38 different pizza flavours. The atmosphere is very simple, and the service is friendly. The pizzas are well-topped, with thick bases. I prefer the shrimp and crab pizzas, and they also have fries, pancakes, and other snacks. A pitcher costs less than 35 dollars a head.
