The truth is that this cafe is one of the most charming places I visited on my trip to the Portuguese coast. It is hard to decide which is more delicious, the queijadas that are typically sweet and travesseiros or the service of the lady ve runs the place. If you visit Sintra do not fail to give a tribute in the form of tea.
This restaurant in Sintrais situated a few meters from the main square of Piriquita. Upon entering it is very dark but I was really surprised by the quality of the dishes at a very good price. Notable vegetable dishes on offer are Malai kofta, which is the house specialty and consists of fried vegetables with whipped cream, Veg Kurma (vegetables al dente with coconut milk and fried rice) and the garlic nan, a bread-like pizza dough with garlic. All of this including dessert and coffee for € 20. Highly Recommended
Yesterday we spent around 10 hours in the house Quinta do Regaleira, Sintra,. They opened a restaurant within the area as 10 hours of hiking works up an appetite. The extensive menu is made up of salads and pasta with fruit and fungi from the terrain, but the star is the venison with wild fruits,a tremendous feature is the mango salad and mushroom mango ice cream desserts or cheese. It is not exactly economic but the atmosphere is worth it.
Portuguese food buffet for €8.50 without the drink or coffee. It's quite spacious, and never runs out of food, the dishes are constantly changing, so you have always variety, and if it runs out, you know something different will replace it. Highly recommended if compared with the prices of others restaurants in the area.
This was the first restaurant we found after we left the Moorish Castle in Sintra. It's in a small alley right next to the bus stop that takes you to the castles. A comfortable, warm place - nice in winter! The menu is extensive, with several choices of pasta and meat. The service was very fast. Portugal is always a good place to eat, as the prices are low.
A charming place, elegant and with good service where you can go with children, friends or family interchangeably. Excellent cuisine, various dishes with good wines at very reasonable prices considering the quality.
After seeing the various monasteries you must stop for a while to rest, and you can see the fantastic valley of Sintra. If you're a big fan you can taste some of the best teas of the world and for very cheap. The people are wonderful. Oh and the jam is amazing.
It was Sunday and we were looking for a restaurant to eat in Lisbon, when we decided on a whim to follow the sign to Cascais. This is a beautiful seaside town with an eternal holiday atmosphere. There are plenty of restaurants on the main street, and most are international. The Pizzagheti was hidden in a little corner. We ordered garlic bread to start for 3.50, and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it was actually a round mass like a mini pizza with spices on top. The main course was a large pizza with cheese, ham, and mushrooms. It cost about 16 euros. And the great thing about being in Cascais was that after dinner, we could go for a nice stroll along the sand!
Excellent option for lunch if you visit Sintra. For €24, I had fiery chorizo, two mains, and a wonderful dessert that was recommended, but I don't remember the name. They have a very large terrace, and the most friendly service. 100% recommended.
Well, 2 years in a row we have been spending a few days en Lisboa, and after going a few times to Sintra and we read comments on the Internet. There is a good place to eat in Sintra, Tasca do Xisco, food similar to tapas and fingerfood, Portuguese and high quality cuisine. Don´t miss trying the cod that is so good. The waiter is a little crazy, very nice, charming, but fun. I think it is the only place in Sintra that I will return to eat. Recommendable.
The Macas Club is a restaurant close to the beach of Praia das Macas. On sunny days, there is nothing better than enjoying a meal on this restaurant's superb terrace. Highlights include the skewers of squid, and octopus. We'll be back!
Very good atmosphere, service, and quality care. Very nice place, great for any occasion, birthday parties, wedding, christening, company meetings, etc. Recommendable! Family oriented, and very friendly, professional service.
