The LK Lounge is a café located opposite the beach in Puerto de Sóller. It specializes in Asian-style woks, and I especially the beef with rice option. If you like fish, I recommend the filet de gallo white wine with fresh vegetable. Most importantly, the portions are huge, the price is cheap, and this is especially true if you compare it to other places nearby. If you come in the afternoon, you can ask for cake or ice cream, but I prefer a mojito or cold sangria while listening to some chill out music.
On the promenade of the Port de Sóller, we found this restaurant on the sea front which offers a variety of dishes, from tapas to a set menu, meat, fish and pasta. They have over 50 years of experience, providing meals to anyone who wants to enjoy it as they pass through the Port of Soller. It has a lovely terrace where you can eat facing the sea and with views of the tram. You can try some typical local dishes such as pica-pica, squid with spicy sauce, or tumbet, a very tasty sautéed vegetable dish. Then we ordered some potatoes with all-i-oli sauce, shrimp skewers with couscous and a lasagna. The shrimp sauce was really good, the amounts are more than enough, and the presentation of the dishes is great. It is therefore a good choice if you are visiting the Port, you leave with a very full belly and after a refreshing swim in the sea we went to take the tram back to Sóller.
The truth is that there are places for everyone, this offered a typical menu at a price that was affordable, and the best part was the lovely view from the top floor terrace. The service a bit slow, and the rice was good and well-cooked. Curious and also in its extent, vegetable omelet was the main course, and they offered a good orange dessert. Acceptable.
Canyis (situated in the Port de Soller) is a family-run restaurant specializing in Majorcan cuisine. Their dishes include really good fish, and the snails with garlic sauce are a delight. Its wine list features the finest wines of the island as well as a variety of outstanding wines from other regions.
