The Café d’el Nord is in Fornells beach, Menorca. The service is great and the wait staff are very friendly.
The menu is mainly fish and shellfish and the wine list is top-notch. The price-quality ratio is very good and the prices are adequate for the level of the restaurant.
If we go back to Menorca, I’m sure we’ll eat here again.
This is where the Villalonga family continues to delight the palate with their traditional-style sweets and pastries. Over five generations have worked in the store, a testament to the quality of their products.
Don’t miss the “ensaimada” (bun) made with caramelized cream, the sours, the “pastissets”, “crespells”, “brazo de Gitano”, and “carquinyols.”
It’s a great place to get a sense of the island’s traditions and flavors.
Located in Plaça de Pare Camps in Es Mercadal, this restaurant takes as much care with its dishes as it does with its design.
In the restaurant’s own words, it combines the traditions of the islands with the latest trends, and offers a wide variety of tapas on the menu.
I chose the mango and asparagus salad and a plate of codfish over vegetables, both of which were very, very good.
