Dinant is a Belgian village in the region of Wallonia ... Largely unknown part of the country. Along with Namur, it is one of the two most beautiful cities in the area. They are located 20 minutes by train from one another. I recommend not focusing 100% on the Flemish area and going to Wallonia to Dinant and Namur. There are few direct trains to Dinant from Brussels. You can spend half a day in Namur and the other half in Dinant ... They are small towns. In Dinant the most important thing is the cathedral and the citadel on the river bank... thousands of photo opportunities! You can also enjoy a boat ride which takes you to a diamond mine in a cave ... Highly recommended. If you liked this area and want to continue traveling in Belgium, look at my profile for more places to add to your journey! And if you have any questions, ask me. I'll gladly answer. GREETINGS FROM MINUBE!
The river towns have always had a special beauty. This place in particular looks like a mirror that reflects its colorful facades and black church to make it doubly attractive. Here we enjoyed a typical mulled wine in one of the premises on the river bank watching as daylight faded, giving way to the light bulbs of the river all the way across town.
