Muslim Tatar Cemetery

I set out to take a tour of cemeteries one morning, as all the most important ones are pretty close. But when we talk of graveyards, the dimensions are quite large, I have to say it took me longer than I had planned - it took the morning and afternoon, it was more than 20 km for sure! The Tartar cemetery is just behind the Powązki Cemetery, across the street from the rear. It's very small (0.5 hectare) and is only open 10-14 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). It opened in 1867 and Russian Muslim soldiers, Muslims Poles and many Tatars who fled Crimea when Stalin began his extermination are buried here.
