Largo de Camões

Largo de Camões is one of the main squares of the Baixa de Lamego. It's at the beginning/end of Avenida Visconde Texeira (which leads directly to the Shrine of Remedies). In Largo de Camões there are several of the city's most important historical buildings: the Old Episcopal Palace (now a museum), the old Seminary, the Theatre, the Cathedral and the courthouse (Palacio de Justicia). Also, in the center of the square is the Monument to Bishop Miguel de Portugal.
