Talpe Beach Restaurant & Bar

Taple Beach Restaurant & Bar is a really beautiful inn and restaurant in the small coastal village of Talpe, about a 15 minute tuk-tuk ride from Galle. It's hard to see from the main road...in fact, we wouldn't have discovered it had we not been staying at the guest house immediately next door! The highlight of the restaurant is its romantic pool-terrace area overlooking the sea, perfect for a candle-lit dinner with the palm trees and the gently lapping waves in the background. If you can, get there for a late-evening drink in the little private booth that's located on the far end of the pool...you'll have the beautiful view all to yourself.
