The Grand Café d'Orléans is a lovely place with several different rooms, where the atmosphere is also unique. Located at the entrance of the palace, this place is a restaurant, tea room and serves sandwiches. Decorated with attention to detail, here you really feel like you are inside a palace. The restaurant offers traditional French cuisine, foei terrine house or marinated salmon tartine are two of their typical dishes. They also offer incredible desserts or sandwiches and drinks to either have there or take away, depending on what time of day it is and what you want to do. I recommend this nice place.
This place is very easy to locate. You get to the train station of Versailles. You go out, You cross the street to the Palace of Versailles and the end of it you're will find it. I really liked it because it was very clean and not your typical fast food restaurant, very comfortable and in my opinion with some very good prices. Above all if you compare them with what is paid in other places in Paris, it is a good deal. You Pay for a chocolate come. That is a chocolate with cream which ones out to € 2.30. That is about same as you would pay in Spain.
A good place to go to watch rugby or other sports. Really, a fantastic spot to gather with friends for a party. The giant screen allows customers to watch all major sporting events live. The walls are covered with prints of rowing, boxing, fencing, and cricket, not to mention the inevitable rugby ... the pub, located just two steps from the Place d'Armes, opposite the Chateau de Versailles, has a beautiful terrace, a festive and sporting atmosphere, and offers screenings of all major sports events.
This is a tapas bar and restaurant of Basque origin, in Versailles and Chesnay. The restaurant's terrace is very nice for dinner on a summer night or to drink a beer. The style is very "Southwest" and emphasizes the quality of service. In short, a perfect place to attend.
