What a delight to sit for breakfast in the sun overlooking the harbor! This charming little town has a magic, romantic and special, beautiful atmosphere, and simply having a croissant here, in the French way, or a baguette (tartine) freshly baked with butter, jam and a delicious cup ofcoffee, is a privilege.
This beautiful square is home to a lovely hotel, medieval not to be missed. Here absolute silence reigns, people talk in whispers, how much would it cost a Spaniard to speak like that!, And good taste is visibl. The decor in shades of gray and brown, the fireplace and exquisite attention, besides the delicious oysters and Calvados wine served , make it an establishment to recommend. The custom of removing the butter homemade hot rolls when you sit down to the table is a real downfall. The sauce with shredded shallots, and vinegar for oysters, delicious cabillaud (cod) or meringue dessert with tangering ice cream dishes deserve a ten. Finally, a place to recommend and whose price is not above 35 € per person.
Chef Jean-François Piège invites you to taste his unique appetizers: pascade aveyronnaise, a kind of pancake in the shape of a cake, as well as poached lobster medallions with lime, celery leaves and cilantro, among other delicacies.
