The Romanesque style is in its pure state in Blavet. The hundred year old chapels and fountains make a visit romantic and full of historical flavour. The fountains, once sacred to the Celts invite foreigners to lose themselves between the trails and gorges to the sea as a backdrop of a unique journey. Following the river Blavet, and carved into the rock, we find the chapel of St. Gilda, which is a very careful and ornate temple inside the rock, that immerses you in a mystical room. You'll cringe as you walk in. It's more than 600 years old and has had several reconstructions, but has retained its spirit. Also, each month you can visit contemporary art exhibits inside the temple. It's a mixture of styles that will shock and delight all who see it.
