A pretty little church

The pretty little church of Saint George The Martyr is located in the district of Borough, and the tip of its spire can be seen from far away. The first church built on this site was in the 13th century, and was replaced after being destroyed in the 14th century. The present church is the third, and was built between 1734 and 1736, designed by John Price. Today, the church has a large community with various activities such as the "lunch-time recital" and concerts.
