I had an amazing time discovering Miami waters on board of an amazing Yacht. This time, my friends and I had the opportunity to rent a Sailo Boat to spend a few days on the water. It was really a great adventure that we definitely recommend to anyone who is exciting about trying different things. Miami has a lot to offer from sailing experiences, nightlife and so much more!
Venice Beach is filled with eye catching diversity and art. Graffiti and the smell of pot fills up much of the boardwalk area. Really cool place to go to if you've never been. It has on beach skateparks and crowd-whooing acts. You can also see Muscle Beach Gym where 'Arnold' worked out.
This beach is huge. Just walking to the shore can be tiring! hahaha but it's worth it. It's always a bit cooler, and there are huge waves for surfing. It's also a perfect place for cyclists and skaters. A place to spend a perfect day with the family and then later go to the mall or Bubba Gump's :)
Is located in los Angeles, California and if you visit this city it is almost an obligation to visit Santa Monica Pier because it is a beautiful place with a very festive and cheerful atmosphere. In this place you can find many clothing stores and things of the place and different restaurants, one very famous is Bubba Gump which is a seafood restaurant and has its theme based on the film Forrest Gump, it is a highly recommended place because it is a wonderful place and the food it is great.
On the pier there are mechanical games that at night offer a beautiful view and a lot of fun, there is also a local video game where there is everything and can be enjoyed as a family
Santa Monica is a beautiful place and it is highly recommended to go.
This is one of the beautiful beaches to be found in the USA because it is famous and allows access to all of the public. In my opinion it was good but the most impressive thing about it was seeing the helicopters of the armed forces of the United States and the most beautiful thing is the mixture of cultures, a fusion of Mexican, Dominican, Puerto Rican, and Cuban. It´s a great place, tell all the world it is beautiful and very expensive.
Even when very busy you still manage to see lots of beautiful fish in the deeper parts of it. Lots of activities like the trip on a boat that sails every other hour. Multicultural place and most of the local people are very hospitable. Lots of shopping, expensive but also there is very affordable shopping if you are good at finding the deals....
I just love this place! If you like busy, active and metropolitan the this us your place!
In a city famous for beach parties, this monument reminds us of one of the darkest chapters of human history. Amid the palms and modern avenues of Miami, this hand seems to stretch out of the ground asking for help. To get there you have to go through a small tunnel that will send chills up your spine. Quiet music plays and the walls are engraved with the names of thousands of victims of the Nazi Holocaust. The monument is sure to stir your emotions, and as you get closer you'll see clearly how it represents the victims of this terrible time.
Located about an hour away (connectd by massive American highways) from the city of Tampa, Clearwater Beach is one of the best known towns in this part of Florida, and one of the most enjoyable too. Its beaches aren't of the same standard as those of Miami, but its long stretch of warm sand, with rows of parasols, its palm tree-lined promenades, and its many restaurants all make it worth a visit.
Another beach near LA, it's one of the best places to go at night. It's close to the pier, where there is a selection of very cool bars and restaurants to shop around and get some dinner. The beach is beautiful and surrounded by overpriced mansions.
Accustomed to our beaches in Spain, it was "different" to me. Located at 400 N. Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, this beach has skyscrapers all around it. The beach also hosts bars that serve food, rent loungers, and a bike path around the beach (these can also be rented). The beach season is from late May to early September, and it opens its doors to visitors from 11am to 19pm.
This is a huge beach in the North Pacific, where pelicans and gulls fly over surfers. It's so large that no matter how many people are there, you always feel secluded. This time, at sunset, the sun's rays affect the water and it becomes silvery, so white and bright that your eyes hurt. Scenes from the movie "The Goonies" were filmed here.
The shores of Lake Michigan in Chicago are a great place to spend a summer day. It's just like being at the sea except for the fresh water. It's easy to access the beach by subway or even by walking from the center of the city. There are several beaches and the exact directions are available on the website. Surely all the guidebooks give the necessary information as well. As you can see from the photos, the lake teems with activity. People don't just lie in the sand, they also play sports. There are several volleyball nets, boat rentals, a bike path that covers much of the lake and a jogging lane for runners. Despite the snow the city gets in winter, Chicago is also a beach town with beautiful views of skyscrapers in the background.
On these beaches, the sea is as hot as the sand. Situated close to Key West in the Atlantic Ocean and cordoned off in order to prevent sharks from entering the waters. Easy parking and services. Hopefully you manage to avoid the algae. It´s disgusting to step on them,.
South of Key West is the Fort Zachary Natural Park, which is home to the busiest beach on the island. The white sand, though not as fine as it appears from afar, and the warm and transparent water, make it a pleasure to relax in the sun. The entire beach is also surrounded by palm trees, so it seems like an island paradise, instead of 1 minute from the city centre. A must-see beach ready to enjoy. They say that from here you can see the best sunsets in Key West.
North Beach is located between the business district, the Embarcadero, and ChinaTown. It's a lively district, filled with Italian restaurants and cafes, with fabulous views of the bay and Downtown skyscrapers. Worthwhile because of its sights and the chance to wonder through its streets.
This is an amazing beach in San Francisco! Be warned: swimming is difficult here, not only in winter but in summer too. Not because of strong currents or large waves, but due to the water temperature! The water is so cold that you can often see sea lions and seals playing in the surf. Occasionally a few dolphins or pelicans appear to catch some fish for dinner, and if you're lucky you may even spot a shark or two. Surfers, picnickers, and lovers of walking alike will find something here.
Nestled in the heart of the city, just a few meters from the main street of Monterey, Cannery Row, Monterey Beach is a lovely stretch of sand with breathtaking views across the bay. A few meters from the main beach is McAbbee Beach, the best place to watch whales during their migration.
