Jack the Ripper tour

The 1888 Jack the Ripper murders took place in the slums of East London near the districts of Spitalfields and Whitechapel. There are currently tours that take tourists through each of the alleys where the murders were committed. The tours are usually at night which adds an air of mystery to the experience. I would recommend signing up for one of the guided tours to learn about this bloody episode in London's history. It will also help you understand what life was like in this part of the city in the Victorian era. If you visit these neighborhoods today, the most visible feature is their diversity, particularly the Bangladeshi community (one in two inhabitants of the district belongs to the community).
