Museo dei Bambini Childrens Museum

The Museo dei Bambini (children's museum) is a treat for the little ones and is a fun museum to discover history, science and much more (topics vary throughout the year) in an amused tone. The museum is on Via Flaminia, behind Piazza del Poppolo, across from metro Flaminio. Access is easy and afterwards there's a park nearby for lunch and to rest outdoors. Activities are basic enough for children to have a good time without necessarily speaking Italian. There are exhibits on antique toys and you can touch most of the attractions making you a more active visitor. At the entrance there's a small store of memories and a place to eat a picnic.
