Magnificent architecture
The "Painted Hall" and the Chapel of the Old Royal Naval College are two buildings that face each other, and unlike the rest of the site, are not used by the University of Greenwich. The Painted Hall is a monumental banquet hall with murals covering the entire surface, from floor to ceiling. The decoration took 19 years to complete! The chapel opposite is also a magnificent example of architecture, with beautifully carved stone columns and a dome.
