5 waterfalls in Germany

Waterfalls in Triberg im Schwarzwald
Triberg Waterfalls
(5)
In the center of the small town of Triberg, in the Black Forest, the rushing Gutach river forms a frothy waterfall which at 163 meters and with seven levels, makes it the highest waterfall in Germany. The waterfalls are accessible throughout the year and provide a stunning backdrop in winter. There are three marked trails to see the waterfalls: the nature way, the culture way and the waterfalls way; each giving the best views, but all the waterfalls look fabulous within the great, natural beauty of the environment. In all these routes are guides with information about animals, plants and characteristics of the area.
Waterfalls in Bad Urach
Bad Urach Falls
(3)
Bad Urach Waterfall is a nice waterfall which can be reached easily, just a walk through the wood suitable for the whole family which allows you to get to know another part of the region. There is also a road to the waterfall from the train station of Bad Urach, in which there is a parking lot. The path is well-marked and is in perfect condition, so it is impossible to get lost. After a short walk along the flat road, you begin to see the waterfall in the distance. Once you get there, you can even walk behind the waterfall. Very near the waterfall there is a recreational area with benches and a place to have meals and refreshments, open between April and October. To return to the station you follow another path, that goes deeper into the forest, and is also well marked. The visit can take in total about 2 hours, you can also get to the waterfall by train. A good visit for a change of scenery.

Marienbruck Bridge

Arriving at Marienbruck bridge after crossing the forest we were greeted with the wonderful view of Neuschwanstein Castle. It is an experience I will not forget. I encourage everyone to visit Bavaria and walk through the woods up to the castle.
