Monitors certified by the European Surfing Federation. I really liked this school and the course fee is fine, € 30 for two hours and includes the dress and the table. If you want to stay all day on the computer, you only pay € 10 extra. The facility is on the beach and is open all year. If you do the course and want to rent your computer all day, it is 20€. My teacher was Mariuco, I recommend him. Important: they have showers that you can use even if not a customer. The card costs 1 € and lasts three minutes.

Since I was in the Canary Islands I wanted to try every water sport I considered available in front of me. And in Flag Beach it was the turn of Kite Surfing. We arrived at the beach house where we were greeted. They had the equipment to rent if you were already skilled in these sports and also a school for those who, like me, were looking to learn to practice a water sport in the waves. I just loved Kite Surfing. It is simplicity itself: you have the harness attached to the kite, you have a bar that is that controls where it is kept. Turn left, lower left, turn right, lower right. If you pull the bar, the kite pulls you. Simple. The staff are genuine surfers and people who are dedicated to these sports, with the Californian beach look that characterizes them. My instructor was a very nice young guy, who managed very well explaining all the stuff. In this first class I could not get in the water-it takes more practice for that, but I left me wanting more and it made me decide to learn the sport of Kite Surfing.
This year Easter coincided with the 9th World Championship of surfing, which takes place in the Asturian town of Tapia de Casariego on the days of 1st, 2nd and 3rd of April 2010. Furthermore, as we do every year, we went to celebrate the 19th Tribute to Peter Gulley, the Australian surfer who introduced surfing in the Asturian village of Tapia de Casariego.
Mundaka is situated at the mouth of the Urdaibi. The view from here is unmatched: Opposite the beach is the island of Izaro, which forms the best backdrop that nature could provide. It is impossible to describe in words. Come to Mundaka to experience it, to smell the aromas and breath in what nature has put here.
As I was telling you, in the corner surf in El Cotillo, there are many breakers that are located around the island of Fuerteventura, mainly in the north part. The best surfing season is winter, from November to late March, at this time the waves can easily reach between 1.5 and 4 meters high. The rugged coastline in the norteat, norh and west produces a large number of breakers that can vary in difficulty, offering the opportunity to surf for all levels. The best way to know the appropriate breakers at each level is to hire the services of a surfing school, and there are tons of them. I filmed this video at sunset, I made it a few hundred meters west from the port of Corralejo. Pass the generators and take the dirt road.
Here I discovered the exciting world of surfing. Zarautz is one of the places where lots of surfers congregate. The beach, the village and the coast of Donostiarra make the perfect spot to enjoy some waves. The Moor surf school offers classes to get you started in this fascinating sport.
